Over 50? Then your Government wants you dead

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Print Friendly, PDF & Email

In Britain, it is now official Government policy to ignore the needs of the elderly. Doctors and nurses are told to let old people die – and to withhold treatment which might save their lives. Hospital staff are told to deprive the elderly of food and water so that they die rather than take up hospital beds. Nursing home staff have even been given the right to sedate elderly patients without their knowledge. The only -ism that no one cares about is ageism.

By Dr Vernon Coleman

But at what age are patients simply allowed to die? And how old is too old for patients to be resuscitated? At what point does society have the right to say ‘You’ve lived long enough, now you must die and make way for someone else’? And why should resuscitation be decided by age? It is possible to argue that it would make as much sense to decide according to wealth or beauty. But ageism is now officially accepted. Anyone over 60 is now officially old, though in a growing number of hospitals the cut off age for resuscitation is 50.

We live in a politically correct world but the elderly don’t count – particularly if they are white and English. Report after report after report shows elderly patients being left in pain, in soiled bed clothes. Elderly patients in hospital are ignored by staff and left to starve to death, denied even water if they cannot get out of bed and fetch it themselves.

Old people are a burden which the Government cannot afford and so the politicians will continue to authorise whatever methods are necessary to ensure that the number of burdensome old people is kept to a minimum. The existence of an absurd branch of medicine called geriatrics is used as an excuse to shove old people into backwater wards and to provide them with second-rate medical treatment. In February 2011, an official report condemned the NHS for its `inhumane treatment of elderly patients’ and stated that NHS hospitals were ‘failing to meet even the most basic standards of care’ for the over-65s. It is no exaggeration to say that the NHS treats the elderly with contempt. (It used to be said that you can judge a civilisation by the way it treats its elderly.)

It was back in February 2005 that it was revealed that the Government had advised that hospital patients with little hope of recovery should be allowed to die because of the cost of keeping them alive. The Labour Government suggested that `old people’ be denied the right to food and water if they fell into a coma or couldn’t speak for themselves. So much for any hope for stroke victims. The Government suggested that the need to cut costs came before the need to preserve the lives of patients and decided it had the right to overturn a right-to-life ruling which had been made when a judge ordered that artificial nutrition and hydration should not be withdrawn unless the life of a patient could be described as ‘intolerable’. (The judge had added that when there was any doubt, preservation of life should take precedence.)

Of course, depriving the elderly of food and water is sometimes more a consequence of incompetence than official policy. When my mother was in hospital she couldn’t feed herself but the staff didn’t feed her. If no relative could get to the hospital to feed her she didn’t eat. Drinks were put on her tray and then taken away untouched. `Not thirsty, today?’ an idiot would ask merrily.

Meanwhile, the Government pours money into subsidising the lives of the lazy and the work-shy. Healthy 30-year-olds sit around growing chip backsides and beer bellies, slumped in front of their high definition digital television sets watching their choice of State subsidised satellite television, opening the windows to let the heat out because it’s easier than turning down the central heating.

The elderly are classified as the ‘Unwanted Generation’: a political embarrassment. Elderly individuals facing blindness from age-related macular disease are denied drugs that might have prevented their blindness. The elderly are considered expensive, useless and expendable. The theory is that they don’t contribute and rarely vote and can, therefore, be disregarded. But those who believe this will be old sooner than they think. And the definition of ‘old’ is getting younger by the year.

Wars have taught us that people seem to be prepared to accept as normal all sorts of terrible things. But how unbelievably awful it is that doctors and nurses accept that the elderly (officially the over 60s) must be allowed to die because keeping them alive isn’t cost effective. The official attitude seems to be that old people don’t matter and don’t have rights simply because they are old. In mid August 2007, a Select Committee on Human Rights, comprised of MPs and peers, reported that 21% of hospitals and care homes failed to meet even minimum standards of dignity and privacy for older people. The Committee said it had uncovered evidence of neglect, abuse, discrimination and unfair treatment of frail, older people. (Their discovery came as no surprise to those of us who have been uncovering such abuse for decades.) How have we managed to forget that in the 1930s the Nazis deliberately starved and dehydrated elderly and vulnerable patients because they were regarded as a useless burden on society? That is exactly what we are doing today.

An astonishing (and horrifying) survey conducted among readers of the journals Nursing Standard and Nursing Older People showed that fewer than one in six nurses said that nothing would prevent them from reporting abuse of older people in their care.

In other words five out of six nurses would, at least sometimes, fail to report abuse of the elderly people they were being paid to look after. So, in my view, five out of six of nurses aren’t fit to be nurses.

Would these same nurses ignore the abuse of children so easily?

I suspect not.

This is utterly appalling and an indictment of the modern nursing profession.

The same survey showed that six out of ten nurses would turn a blind eye to the abuse of the elderly. They would say nothing if they knew that an elderly patient or care home resident was being beaten, bullied or robbed.

Why are nurses failing their patients?

One reason is cowardice.

Unbelievably, it seems that nurses are frightened to report abuse in case they themselves are abused by the person doing the abuse.

Oh, please.

Another reason is, apparently, ‘fear of misinterpreting the situation’.

What sort of political correct garbage is that?

Hospital patients and nursing home residents now often suffer malnutrition and dehydration, abuse and rough treatment, lack of privacy, neglect, poor hygiene and bullying. Thousands and thousands of elderly people are left for hours in soiled clothes.

How can anyone ‘misinterpret’ any of that?

And why?

Can it be because too many modern nurses are lazy, stupid and incompetent? Is it because too many are far too self-important to do anything other than stare at a computer screen all day long?

In my view, nurses who say nothing when they see abuse are as guilty as the abusers. A once great profession is, today, in a worse state than it was in the days of Dickens. Is it so very old-fashioned of me to believe that every nurse should always report every incident of abuse? Always. Without exception.

Ageism is, it seems, now endemic in health care. A reader wrote to tell me that when she visited her doctor complaining of painful knees her doctor told her, very abruptly, that her problem was that she was living too long. She was devastated. ‘It wasn’t said as a joke,’ she told me. ‘He meant it.’ In the months before he died my father repeatedly complained: ‘People treat me like a fool because I am old’. A 79-year-old reader told me: ‘If you are over 55 they want you dead because you’re too expensive alive.’

We now live in a world where it is considered acceptable for men and women to have to share a ward; where hospital bathrooms are so dirty that patients dare not use them; where dentists are so scarce and expensive that people have to resort to pulling their own bad teeth with the aid of a length of string tied to a doorknob. But it is the elderly who, above all others, are regarded as disposable and irrelevant. It is the elderly who have no rights. Sexism and racism are outlawed but ageism is not. Indeed, it seems clear that ageism is now a State sponsored prejudice. Violent, feral youths who are caught assaulting elderly law-abiding citizens are likely to be ‘punished’ with a fistful of vouchers entitling them to a handful of free CDs (the lyrics of which may well encourage more violence) but honest, elderly citizens who, cannot afford to pay their council tax bill will end up in prison.

When doctors are owned by the Government then the Government’s priorities take over. And so the elderly, who are regarded as an expensive burden, are considered expendable.

Vernon Coleman’s book Why and How Doctors and Nurses kill more people than Cancer is available as an ebook or paperback.

I’ve just been sent home from hospital with considerable vaccine induced illnesses because “your heart is fine”. It was, yes, on the single occasion it was checked in 11 days. Wasn’t every other day for 5 months. Still, at least they gave me a commode to crap in my bedroom. I’ll just continue to live on my bed. The things I saw in hospital mirror exactly what I just read. It’s been the case for years, sadly, but ‘Covid’ has really finished it off. Needs rebuilt from top to toe. Way less managers and way less waste.

Like everything else, these globalist parasites measure us, based on our commercial input to the “big society”; therefore dumb and old people are seen, as that **** at the WEF stated = “useless eaters”.

Contrary to Dr Coleman’s 50, I thought the age was slightly higher, but I assume he is right, so off to the pub and enjoy my last few days !.

PS They do tell us everything, remember that; remember this film ? =

Rubbish . . . Mums being extremely well looked after in hospital atm. No issues with the staff, all very attentive. No DNR on her, shes nearly 80yrs. Food and drink a plenty. No problem here in Wales, but did have a long wait in the back of the ambulance . . . Sick of all this “ they want us dead “ talk 🙄

It is definitely NOT rubbish you are fortunate but there are many areas that are less so and old people being treated abominably No food one night in a home I worked in and toast for tea and most of it definitely not fit for human consumption the times they did have like hash browns and beans a total disgrace I reported this to the relevant Health Board and noting down to improve it

The clue there was Mum. It’s different in Wales. St David, as we were taught, told us to look after one another. That’s what our language means, basically care. However I can see the cracks appearing even here. My Mam wasn’t quite so lucky!

If you don’t believe they want us dead then explain why an untested gene therapy agent was mandated for the masses for a virus that most of the population that has a 99.5% chance of recovery from the virus. You can also explain the millions of vaccine injuries and the tens of thousands of deaths. A small amount of discernment goes a long way.

Although I have a tremendous amount of respect for my elders, I think this article comes across a bit whingy and dare, I say, entitled. You could play this card with the younger generations, too, and the future and aspirations they’ve been completely robbed of or ended prematurely at best. A privilege fortunate enough to be awarded to those same said, older generations.

Unless you have chosen to take a deadly vaccine, in which case your life will end in the next 5 years, younger generations have not had their futures ‘robbed’ by older people. Remember you decide your own future aspirations. My parents were only in their early 20s when WWII started. They and countless others volunteered for Service, never knowing if their young lives would end, killed in action. So, Aaron, do identify who exactly is responsible for making and pushing deadly Covid vaccines, for lying about its so called safety, for arming fabricated battles in Ukraine, for trying to stop us eating meat by curtailing numbers of cows Dutch farmers can have etc then you can have the true enemy in your sites. Good Luck!

Excuse me, but did I blame the elderly for the fact that the youth have been robbed/ are currently being robbed and will continue being robbed of any realistic aspirations for the future, or at least if we continue in the same trajectory as we’re currently in. You’ve come in guns blazing, assuming a position I don’t even hold.

I think it’s rather obvious if I’m commenting on an article published on “the exposé” who I identify as the enemy. That same small group of ruling elites you refer to are the same ones responsible for robbing young ppl of any hope for the future. Do you deny that isn’t the case? Do you know what the vaccine has been designed to accomplish? Well if the theories are correct, and they have proven to be pretty accurate thus far, then we can expect up to 90% of the world population being genocided before 2030.

Are you going to tell my a 10-year-old nephew to suck it up? Let’s just assume he’s one of the “lucky ones” and manages to survive to 2030, he’ll be barely 18. Do you think he’s going to be able to have any realistic opportunity to fulfil his life aspirations? Do you think he’ll ever get taste what freedom really feels like, coming of age in a totalitarian one world government / digital prison? Some things are worse than death.

So i really wasn’t planning on a tit-for-tat, but since you’ve already gone there, do you mind explaining to me exactly how those two generational experiences are in any way comparable?

Aaron

Also I couldn’t help but respond to the flagrant example of complete ignorance laid out in your first sentence. You say that the vaccinated will be dead within 5 years, and in the same breath, you also state that “younger generations have not had their futures robbed”
Well, which one is it? Can you not hear yourself and the error in logic within that statement?
Unfortunately, a vaccinated child doesn’t have the capacity or legal authority to make those decisions.
There has been an attempted genocide committed against the Western nations’ populations, which includes children. Cry me a river about the struggles of the elderly! They’ve had a pretty good run!
Maybe also have a bit of introspective thought before you say something so ridiculous and tone deaf

A younger child who took the shot will be robbed of their future because the odds are high they will be dead. Is it really that difficult to understand that? You can’t have a future if you are dead.

Older people see the extreme changes going on and don’t want communism. Again, are you so dumb not to understand that? It’s also not up to us to determine when somene over age 50 to be denied medical care unless you want to play god.

Most young people I know spend so much time on their listening/tracking devices playing games I believe they not only don’t want to fight the good fight, they (most, and I acknowledge I shouldn’t categorize, but…) don’t realize the horrible consequences of what is really happening.
So, if I sound a little “whingy” by pointing out the vast amount of resource that older people represent is largely being ignored by younger persons in general, then so be it. Enjoy your 12 square meter prison with your diet of bugs. And don’t dare refer to your captors as whingy. You may have your privileges curtailed.

Britain is not alone in this medical murder spree. It happens in many countries, especially in large urban areas. The US doctors over prescribe meds that do more harm than good. Cholesterol and blood pressure meds are an example that doctors seem to think anybody over 40 should be on. They would rather you die at home or nursing facilities than in hospitals. Seems like in the last two years they are trying to kill everybody, no age requirement. You must not trust anybody in the healthcare cartel, they are out to get you. Heaven help us all.

First article of Dr Coleman’s which i’ve read and just can’t agree with on several levels.

Absolutely agree they want to murder us old dears, after all, we remember and can pass on info about recent times, which were pretty humane and even good for some lucky inhabitants of certain, approved countries. Don’t think it’s useless eaters syndrome so much as wanting to wipe us oldies out, so they can have total control of the narrative.

What’s going on is about dehumanising people. Sad to say, i think this is succeeding to a large degree, think most people are now significantly dehumanised. Personally don’t fear death, it’s far from the worst thing that can happen to us. Although,Demeter like Dr Coleman, i do care about how i die and want to it be a peaceful transition, among those i love.

I’m a seriously peaceful person who can be peed off. My daughter and i are exceptional, natural chess players. Never trained, we just experiment and play for joy. But online chess is now filled with cheats, who we vanquish at least 90% of the time.

Back in the mid 00’s and on, i used to play 10 to 15 mins games, so many used engines against me, which weren’t great in the timeframe then and i was constantly accused of cheating. The head of pogo chess, which was massive at the time, played against me a game which was a draw. He was gobsmacked as a Grand Master but said you don’t cheat, no engine would let you so endanger your King.

Sadly, many people don’t realise in online chess, cheating using engines is endemic. Now play 5 min games myself, my daughter no more than 3 mins, so natural talent can shine. And we do!
